Geely Executive Outlines Global Expansion Strategy for Zeekr


On April 29, during Geely’s Q1 2026 performance briefing, CEO Gan Jiayue detailed the international roadmap for the Zeekr brand. The Zeekr 9X is scheduled to enter the Middle East market in June, followed by a launch in Central Asia during the third quarter and Europe in the fourth quarter. Additionally, the Zeekr 8X is slated for global promotion between the fourth quarter of this year and the first quarter of next year. According to market data, the Zeekr 9X achieved a single-model delivery volume of 22,000 units in the first quarter, underscoring its strong domestic momentum ahead of global export.



ONVO L80 Flagship SUV Commences Pre-sale


NIO’s sub-brand, ONVO, officially opened pre-sales for its flagship SUV, the L80, on April 28. The vehicle is priced at RMB 245,800 (USD 35,600) for a full purchase, while the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option reduces the entry price to RMB 159,800 (USD 23,200). Positioned as a "Smart Dual-Cabin" large five-seater SUV, the L80 features a 5145mm length and a 3110mm wheelbase, achieving a 60.4% axis-to-length ratio and a space utilization rate of 81.5%. Storage is a key highlight, with a 240L front trunk and a rear trunk that expands to 2600L when seats are folded. The model integrates ONVO's core technologies in lightweighting and safety and is scheduled for official launch on May 15.



Geely Galaxy M7 Voyager Market Launch and Specifications


The Geely Galaxy M7 Voyager was officially launched on April 28, featuring a limited-time guidance price range of RMB 109,800 (USD 15,900) to RMB 137,800 (USD 20,000). Built on the GEA Evo architecture, the M7 is equipped with the FlymeAuto 2 cockpit and the G-Pilot H3 version. The vehicle features a 29.8kWh hybrid-specific ShenDun Golden Battery pack, which Geely claims is the largest in its class. Utilizing the Thor AI Electric Hybrid 2.0 system and an 11-in-1 hybrid drive, the M7 aims to balance energy efficiency with performance, designed to meet a full week of commuting on a single charge.



212 T01 METTA Ecosystem and JD.com Strategic Partnership


During the Beijing Auto Show, the 212 Off-Road brand unveiled its first ecosystem series, METTA, debuting the T01 METTA and T01 METTA Badain Jaran. The T01 METTA utilizes a traditional ladder-frame chassis with solid front and rear axles, paired with electronic differential locks and part-time 4WD. The vehicle offers 10 driving modes, crawl mode, and "tank turn" capabilities. Simultaneously, the brand announced a strategic partnership with JD.com to upgrade the user experience across three dimensions: the launch of an official flagship store on the JD app, the integration of JD’s service network for maintenance, and providing a one-stop shop for off-road upgrade kits and outdoor gear.



Geely Automobile Reports Record First Quarter Revenue


On April 29, Geely Automobile Holdings released its Q1 2026 financial report, announcing a total revenue of RMB 83.78 billion (USD 12.14 billion), representing a 15% year-on-year increase. This marks the first time the company's quarterly revenue has surpassed the 80-billion-yuan threshold. While net profit attributable to shareholders was RMB 4.17 billion (USD 600 million), a 27% decrease, the core net profit—excluding foreign exchange impacts and asset impairments—rose 31% to RMB 4.56 billion (USD 660 million).
