Recently, six configurations of the Huawei Aito M8 SUV were exposed by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). This latest addition to the Aito family is set to make a significant impact in the mid-to-large SUV market. The Aito M8 will provide three versions of pure electric endurance, offering ranges of 161 km, 235 km, and 240 km, respectively. The vehicle is expected to be officially released in the first half of 2025.

Additionally, consumers can customize their vehicles with optional accessories such as luggage racks and window frames.
Power and Performance
Under the hood, the Aito M8 is equipped with a 118 kW extended range engine provided by Chongqing Xiaokang Power. This engine is paired with dual electric motors, offering power outputs of 165 kW and 227 kW. The SUV will be available with either 36.019 kWh or 51.975 kWh lithium iron phosphate or lithium terpolymer batteries. These configurations enable the Aito M8 to reach a top speed of 200 km/h, making it a powerful contender in its market segment.
Competing with Ideal L8 and L9
Positioned to compete with the Ideal L8 and Ideal L9, the Aito M8 aims to capture a significant share of the mid-to-large SUV market. Its advanced features, impressive electric range, and customizable options make it an attractive choice for consumers seeking a high-performance, stylish SUV.
