April 10 — Leapmotor launched the B10 compact SUV with five trims priced from RMB 99,800–129,800 (USD 13,600–17,600*). Global road tests begin in June, with sales across 20+ countries by 2025. Pre-orders hit 10,016 units within an hour. B10 offers 5 trims featuring 510/600 km CLTC range, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, Leapmotor OS 4.0 Plus interaction system integrated with DeepSeek and Alibaba’s Tongyi Qianwen AI.

Geely Galaxy Xingyao 8 Pre-Sales Open at RMB 139,800 with 605N•m Hybrid Powertrain  

April 10 — Geely’s Xingyao 8, a 5-meter luxury PHEV sedan with 5 trims, starts pre-sales at RMB 139,800–173,800 (USD 19,000–23,600*), featuring Leishen EM-P Super Hybrid technology boosting 605N•m torque, 6s 0-100km/h acceleration, and 3L/100km fuel consumption. Besides, all trims are equipped with “G-Plilot" ADAS as standard. The deliveries begin in Q3 2025, as the company announced.  

Chery Fulwin A8 PHEV Enters the Market at RMB 89,900 with 44.5% Thermal Efficiency  

April 10 — Chery’s 2025 Fulwin A8 hybrid sedan launched at RMB 89,900 (USD 12,200*), equipped with CDM 5.0 powertrain, consisting of 5th-gen ACTE 1.5TGDI engine, DHT e-CVT, and high performance hybrid battery. The 5th-gen ACTE 1.5TGDI engine supports 44.5% engine efficiency via i-HEC 4.0 combustion tech.

SAIC’s First All-Solid-State Battery to Launch in 2027  

April 10 — SAIC President Jia Jianxu announced that its new-generation semi-solid-state battery will debut in the MG4 EV by late 2025, and mass-production is expected to start in 2026. The battery has an energy density of 400Wh/kg, and a capacity of 75Ah. Besides, SAIC’s first all-solid-state battery "Guangqi Battery" will be launched in 2027, according to the company.
