On October 15, Wey officially launched the Gaoshan 7 multi-purpose vehicle at RMB 285,800 (approximately USD 40,300). The seven-seat MPV targets family users and features a 128-line LiDAR system as standard, alongside Great Wall’s third-generation intelligent driving assistant system Coffee Pilot Ultra. Powertrain technology incorporates the Hi4 smart all-wheel-drive hybrid system. For maneuverability, the model is equipped with Agile Turn Assist, achieving a minimum turning radius of just 5.6 meters. This enables confident navigation of right-angle ramps in underground garages or U-turns on narrow alleyways.

ONVO Auto Celebrates 100,000th Vehicle Roll-Off  

On October 15, NIO’s subsidiary ONVA Auto announced the rollout of its 100,000th mass-produced vehicle, with deliveries of this milestone unit expected by the weekend. The commemorative model is a seven-seat ONVO L90 finished in a midnight purple exterior. Data indicates that the brand reached 10,000 monthly deliveries in November 2024, surpassed 30,000 units by February 2025, and exceeded 50,000 in June.

Refreshed ZEEKR 001 Debuts with Starting Price of RMB 269,800  

Recently, the refreshed ZEEKR 001 has officially launched with a manufacturer’s retail price starting at RMB 269,800 (approximately USD 38,000), while a limited-time exchange benefit lowers the effective entry price to RMB 259,800 (approximately USD 36,600). The updated model features a full-range upgrade to a 900V high-voltage architecture, enabling a 10% to 80% charge in just seven minutes. Acceleration from zero to 100 km/h takes two seconds, complemented by standard CCD electromagnetic damping and the G-Pilot H7 advanced driver-assistance system powered by the Thor-U chip delivering 700 TOPS. Supply chain sources indicate exceptionally strong order uptake, with firm orders rapidly surpassing 10,000 units and setting a new historical daily sales record. However, the overwhelming demand may challenge battery supply, potentially extending delivery timelines for certain trims.
