Customs: China's EV Exports Up 19%, Industrial Robots Surge 55.4% in Jan-May
China's equipment manufacturing exports reached RMB 6.22 trillion in January-May 2025, rising 9.2% year-on-year and accounting for 58.3% of total exports, according to General Administration of Customs of China. Key growth drivers included electric vehicles (+19%), construction machinery (+10.7%), ships (+18.9%), and industrial robots (+55.4%). The sector contributed 73% to overall export growth, with May alone reaching 76.9%, providing crucial support for foreign trade stability.
