Zeekr 001 reaches a range of 256 km with just 5 minutes of charging, thanks to its CATL-produced 95 kWh LFP battery.
The new #Zeekr 001 electric crossover model from Chinese company ZEEKR极氪 has been officially launched with an ultra-fast charging capability, allowing it to reach a range of 256 km with just 5 minutes of charging, thanks to its CATL-produced 95 kWh LFP battery.
Equipped with an 800V electrical architecture and a silicon carbide-chip inverter across all models, the Zeekr 001 now achieves a full range of 675 kilometers (CLTC) on a single charge. Charging from 10% to 80% takes 11.5 minutes with the 95 kWh LFP battery and 15 minutes with the 100 kWh NMC battery, which offers a range of 705/750 km.
For the 2024 model year, the Zeekr 001 comes with a standard LiDAR sensor, integrated thermal management system with 25 modes, transition to 800V architecture, single-piece rear chassis production, and an updated infotainment system powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chipset. Thanks to the new battery/high-voltage architecture, the 0-100 km/h acceleration time has improved to 3.3 seconds from 3.8 seconds.
The 2024 Zeekr 001 is available for sale at $37,400 for the 100 kWh rear-wheel-drive version with 422 HP power and 750 km range. The model with the new-generation 95 kWh LFP battery and 789 horsepower is also sold at the same price. Depending on the interior equipment levels, the Zeekr 001 ME and YOU packages with the 100 kWh battery are priced at $41,560 and $45,730, respectively.
