BYD July Sales Reach 344,296 Units
BYD sold 344,296 vehicles in July 2025, including 341,030 passenger vehicles, overseas shipments maintained momentum with 80,200 exports. Battery electric vehicles (BEVs) led with 177,887 units, while plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) accounted for 163,143 sales. Despite an 8.8% month-on-month decrease, year-to-date sales grew 27% to 2.49 million units.

July delivery data reveals stark divergence among China's EV startups: Leapmotor achieved a milestone with 50,129 units (up 126.9% YoY), securing its fifth consecutive monthly leadership. HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) delivered 47,752 vehicles including 40,753 AITO models. XPeng surged 229.45% YoY to 36,717 units, while Li Auto fell nearly 40% to 30,731. SAIC Motor July Sales Jump 34.2% to 338,000 Vehicles
SAIC Motor reported July sales report lately. In July, SAIC Motor sold 338,000 vehicles, a 34.2% year-on-year increase. Year-to-date cumulative sales reached 2.39 million units (up 15% YoY). New energy vehicle sales soared 64.9% to 117,000 units in July, contributing to H1 2025 NEV sales of 764,000 (up 43.5%).
Changan Auto July NEV Sales Soar 74.05% to 80,006 Units

Year-to-date figures reached 1.4013 million units produced and 1.5659 million sold. In July, new energy vehicle sales surged 74.05% to 80,006 units, driven by Deepal and Avatr models.
