HIMA Spring Launch Overview: A Six-Model Offensive

Huawei has scheduled its Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) Spring Product Launch for April 22 at 19:00pm UTC+8. This major event will showcase the brand's rapid expansion across multiple segments, featuring six distinct models: the SAIC Z7, SAIC Z7T, AITO M6, Luxeed V9, the new generation AITO M9, and the range-topping AITO M9 Ultimate.

AITO M6: The New Intelligent Mid-to-Large SUV

On April 15, Yu Chengdong announced the commencement of pre-orders for the AITO M6, which is positioned as a sophisticated five-seater "Smart SUV." Strategically placed between the M5 and M7 models, the M6 has already recorded over 100,000 pre-orders.

The vehicle features an official pre-sale price starting at RMB 269,800 (USD 39,100). With dimensions of 4960mm in length and a 2950mm wheelbase, it offers a drag coefficient of just 0.239cd, optimizing efficiency across its dual-power versions.

Technical specifications reveal that the M6 is equipped with an 896-line dual-optical image-grade Lidar system as standard. The extended-range version offers 37kWh and 53kWh battery options with a maximum CLTC pure electric range of 272km. The pure electric variant features a 100kWh battery, delivering a peak CLTC range of 760km. Both versions utilize a four-wheel-drive architecture to ensure robust performance across varying road conditions.

SAIC Z7 and Z7T: Redefining High-Tech Sedans

The SAIC Z7 and the SAIC Z7T have already garnered significant market attention with over 60,000 combined orders. The Z7 starts at a pre-sale price of RMB 229,800 (USD 33,300), while the Z7T begins at RMB 239,800 (USD 34,800). Both models share a 3000mm wheelbase and come standard with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 4.1, the "Giant Whale" 800V high-voltage battery platform, and the Touring chassis system. According to SAIC, these models prioritize interior luxury with zero-gravity passenger seats and water-ion climate control systems.

Flagship Expansion: Luxeed V9 and AITO M9 Ultimate

The launch will also mark the pre-order debut of the Luxeed V9, HIMA’s first MPV. Featuring a 3250mm wheelbase and a 1.5T extended-range system, the V9 targets the high-end executive market with a comprehensive range exceeding 1,250km. Meanwhile, the new generation AITO M9 series introduces an industry-first 6-Lidar stereo matrix. The series is further elevated by the M9 Ultimate, a specialized version with a D-pillar "Ultimate" badge. Positioned as a benchmark for high-end luxury, the M9 Ultimate is expected to be priced above RMB 600,000 (USD 87,000), competing directly with top-tier international luxury brands.
