Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Lock-In Orders Surpass 23,000 Amid Q1 EV Revenue Surge  

Xiaomi reported Q1 2025 revenue of RMB 18.6 billion (USD 2.58 billion) for its EV and AI divisions, with a 23.2% gross margin and RMB 500 million (USD 69.4 million) operating loss. The SU7 series delivered 75,869 units during the quarter, while SU7 Ultra lock-in orders exceeded 23,000 as of May 26, per President Lu Weibing. Xiaomi aims to ramp production to meet its 350,000-unit annual delivery target。

Dongfeng Nammi 06 Launches at RMB 79,900 (USD 11,100) with 471 km Range

Dongfeng’s Nammi 06 compact EV debuted on May 27 with limited-time pricing from RMB 79,900 (USD 11,100). The model offers 26 ADAS features, including highway NOA and memory parking, alongside two LFP battery options: 44.94 kWh (401 km CLTC) and 51.87 kWh (471 km). Targeting urban millennials, it undercuts rivals like BYD Dolphin and Wuling Bingo with 3C fast charging (30-80% in 18 minutes).  

Haval Raptor ICE Version Hits Market from RMB 136,900 (USD 19,000)

Haval launched the gasoline-powered Raptor SUV on May 27, priced at RMB 136,900–146,900 (USD 19,000–20,400) with limited-time discounts. The boxy off-roader packs a 2.0T Miller-cycle engine (175 kW) paired with a 9-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, achieving 8.65 L/100 km WLTC fuel economy. Standard features include sixth-gen 4WD, rear electronic differential lock, and 9 terrain modes, bridging the gap between tank-style SUVs and urban crossovers.  

HIMA’s Luxeed Surpasses 100,000 Deliveries  

Luxeed, a brand cocreated by Huawei and Chery, under HIMA, celebrated its 100,000th delivery on May 27 at its Wuhu "super factory." The milestone underscores Luxeed’s rapid scaling, driven by the R7 SUV and S7 sedan. Luxeed is set to challenge NIO and Li Auto in China’s premium EV segment.
