Global Humanoid Robot Market Projected to Reach USD 29.5 Billion

A report released by IDTechEx on March 4 forecasts that the global humanoid robot market will reach a valuation of USD 29.5 billion by 2036. The intelligence firm suggests that the automotive manufacturing and logistics sectors will be the primary early adopters before the technology expands into broader commercial and consumer markets. Current development is still hindered by battery energy density constraints and thermal management challenges while the global supply chain is not yet fully prepared for mass production. Furthermore, limitations in tactile sensing and hand dexterity currently restrict robots from performing highly complex manual tasks.
