Shenzhen Focuses on Core Components and AI Chips for Intelligent Robots

On March 3rd, the Shenzhen Municipal Science and Technology Innovation Commission released the "Shenzhen Action Plan for Technological Innovation and Industrial Development of Embodied Intelligent Robots (2025-2027)." The goal is to achieve breakthroughs in key areas such as robot core components, AI chips, integration of artificial intelligence and robotics, multimodal perception technology, high-precision motion control, and dexterous manipulation by 2027. The plan aims to cultivate over 10 enterprises valued at more than 10 billion RMB, over 20 enterprises with revenues exceeding 1 billion RMB, implement more than 50 billion-level application scenarios, and reach an associated industry scale of over 100 billion RMB. In terms of tasks, the focus will be on supporting key technologies such as core components for embodied intelligent robots, AI chips, bionic dexterous hands, base and vertical domain large models, and body control.

Changan Automobile Announces Year-End Flying Car Test Flight and 2028 Humanoid Robot Production

On March 2nd, at the 2025 Changan Automobile Chongqing Marathon, Changan Automobile announced plans to launch 35 new digital intelligent vehicles over the next three years. The company will conduct test flights of the new generation of flying cars by the end of 2025, achieve full-scene L3-level autonomous driving by 2026, and realize full-scene L4-level autonomous driving and humanoid robot production by 2028.

Li Auto: First Pure Electric SUV i8 to Launch in July

On March 3rd, Li Auto's official Weibo account revealed that its first pure electric SUV, the Li Auto i8, is scheduled for release in July 2025. The i8, positioned as a mid-large six-seater SUV, marks the debut of Li Auto's i series.
