Voltron, Geely Partner on EV Charging Expansion in Indonesia

Voltron, an Indonesian EV charging operator, reached an agreement with Chinese carmaker Geely Auto, on deploying all charging facilities across all Geely’s deale networks in Indonesia, reported by media.

According to the agreement, six of Geely’s Indonesian showrooms will be equipped with the charging facilities. In line with Geely’s Indonesian expansion plan of establishing stores in Indonesia in 3 years, announced by the company earlier in January this year, the charging facilities will be scaled up later on.

As Indonesia’s largest licensed SPKLU network operator, Voltron has covered about 400+ public charging points, and adding 50 more every month, according to market info. It is believed that Geely, will not only provide its local customer charging services in its own stores, but also offer a more possible chance of access to the Voltron networks all around the country.  

Yusuf Anshori, Geely’s Indonesian brand director, wold the media that, this cooperation will support Geely’s commitment to accelerating the electric transformation in Indonesia, and better service its local customers with convenient and efficient charging services.
