XPENG Develops 72B-Parameter Large-scale Autonomous Driving Model  

April 14 — XPENG Motors revealed its 72-billion-parameter "XPENG World Base Model", aiming to set new benchmarks in AI-driven autonomy. The cloud-based model will later be distilled into smaller versions for vehicles, robots, and flying cars, potentially accelerating its "AI Car" vision. Early tests validate its scalability in complex driving scenarios.  

CATL Partners with Ant Group, Hello Inc. for Green Mobility Push  

April 14 — CATL signed strategic agreements with Ant Group and bike-sharing firm Hello Inc. to collaborate on:  

- Smart mobility platforms integrating battery swapping/payment systems.  

- Battery aftermarket services, including recycling networks.  

The trio may establish joint ventures to accelerate commercialization.  

China's ASEAN Exports Surge: Auto Parts, Batteries Lead 20%+ Growth  

April 14 — China's customs data shows Q1 exports to ASEAN grew robustly, with flat-panel display modules, auto components, and lithium batteries all exceeding 20% growth. Manufacturing products accounted for 90.1% of bilateral trade, per Customs spokesman Lyu Daliang. ASEAN shipments of computer parts and textiles to China also rose steadily.
