XPeng Motors Expands European Footprint to Poland, Switzerland, Czech Republic, and Slovakia
March 11— Chinese EV maker XPeng Motors announced its entry into four new European markets—Poland, Switzerland, Czech Republic, and Slovakia—with its P7 sedan, G9 SUV, and G6 coupe SUV set to begin sales in Q2 2025. The company has inked official distribution agreements with Inchcape and Sweden’s Hedin Group. Inchcape will oversee import and nationwide distribution in Poland, while Hedin will manage full-market operations in the latter three countries.
Guangdong’s “New Three” Exports Surge 30.7% in Jan-Feb 2025
March 12 — Lithium-ion batteries, solar products, and electric vehicles, the three major tech-intensive green products - dubbed the “New Three”—drove a 30.7% year-on-year export increase for the nine mainland cities in Greater Bay Area’s, totaling RMB 22.89 billion (USD 3.52 billion*), according to the Guangdong Sub-Administration of GACC. Overall January-February trade for the region reached RMB 1.29 trillion (USD 198.5 billion*), accounting for 96% of Guangdong’s total imports and exports, up 0.3 percentage points from 2024.
