Yesterday, BYD announce to launch Intelligent Strategy Launch Conference on February 10. Before that, Autocango here share with you BYD’s 2025 annual goal and how will it achieve the goals from three aspects, including sales goals and tech upgrades, factory expansions, and a bigger move into overseas markets.
Sales Targets and Tech Upgrades
It is predicted the BYD’s global sales will be 5 million vehicles in 2025, according to BYD’s orders from main suppliers. It is clear that 5 million vehicles mean a 20% increase from the previous year. Some analysts even predicted that BYD might hit 5.5 million to 6 million units.

The two facilities will be completed in H1 2025, according to the company.
- Jinan Factory Phase II: Located north of the existing Jinan plant in Cui Zhai, this new factory will contribute an annual output of 300,000 units. The facility will also drive Shandong NEV industrial chain and local employment.
- Shenzhen Factory: It is the second phase of the Xiaomo Factory in the Shenzhen-Shantou BYD Auto Industrial Park, and will add 1 million units to BYD’s annual capacity.
Global Market Strategy
BYD is aiming for between 650,000 and 1 million units sold in overseas markets by 2025. Here are the main manufacturing sites for BYD and its targeting markets:
