Embodying E-Mobility Excellence: DEEPAL's Revamped Lineup
DEEPAL, an electric car brand owned by Changan Automobile, is preparing to launch three new models, putting it on an upward trajectory. Following the strong market reaction to the SL03 and S7, DEEPAL expands its product line with the compact SUV S05, the intelligent technology centerpiece L07, and the rugged SUV G318.
DEEPAL S05: Compact SUV with Sophisticated Aesthetics
The small S05 combines conventional design components with a more rounded appearance and technologically advanced front features. With a sleek, aerodynamic shape, the S05 relies mainly on a sporty exterior design that includes hidden door handles and low-drag dual-tone wheels. It will use a single electric motor with a maximum power output of 175 kW.
DEEPAL L07: Infusing Intelligence into Technology
The L07 exudes a fashionable and youthful personality, with DEEPAL characteristic features like as a closed front grille, compact headlight clusters, and a three-part air inlet. With an emphasis on clever technology, this model will be supplied with an 185kW pure electric version or a 1.5L engine for the hybrid version, powered by a 160kW peak driving motor.
DEEPAL S07: The Facelifted DEEPAL S7 Has a New Name
This redesigned DEEPAL S7, renamed the S07 for Thai sales, has a similar build to the current model and keeps the brand's popular style palette. Whether pure electric or range-extended, the power forms include a disguised exhaust design that keeps the rear shapes consistent.
Projecting an Electric Future: Forecasting DEEPAL Sales
Positioning their products against major competitors such as BYD, DEEPAL intends to target a broader consumer base, promising sturdy designs at low prices. DEEPAL S05 is expected to cost between 120,000 and 180,000 Yuan, and the company expects to dramatically increase its market presence.
As DEEPAL unboxes its new models in the second half of the year and market demand peaks in September and October, monthly sales are expected to exceed 20,000 units. The important criteria will be new product competitiveness, market marketing, and production capacity, which will determine the possibility of exceeding 30,000 units per month in sales.
