According to previous announcements, Geely Auto Group will debut the newest model in its Galaxy series at the 2024 Beijing auto show. The auto show, which runs from April 25 to May 4, will begin with a grand reveal of Geely's latest flagship SUV from the Galaxy series on the first day. However, Geely has not revealed any other information about this model.

Upcoming launches

The Galaxy, which debuted on February 23, 2023, is Geely's flagship series, aimed largely at the plug-in hybrid and full electric vehicle (EV) markets. Plans are underway to release a total of seven Galaxy models by 2025, including four plug-in hybrid models in the L-Series and three electric vehicles in the E-Series.

Current Models

In 2023, both the Galaxy L7 SUV and the Galaxy L6 car will be available as hybrids. In contrast, the Galaxy E8, the first all-electric sedan in the Galaxy series, went on sale in January for RMB 175,800 ($24,300).

Future Prospects

The Galaxy L9 could be the model introduced at the forthcoming auto show. Traditionally, Chinese manufacturers name their top-of-the-line models with the largest single number, such as the Nio ET9 and Li L9, and according to Geely's declaration during the L7's debut, the L5 is slated to be released in Q2 2024, followed by the L9 in 2025.

According to Geely's report on April 1, the company sold 150,835 vehicles in March, including 28,435 battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and 16,356 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). Domestic sales for the same period were reported as 114,430 automobiles, with 36,405 exported in March.
