No. 1. NIO Firefly

NIO Firefly is the third brand under NIO, its first model named after the brand, Firefly. The car is positioned as a pure-electric small-sized sedan, targeting a premium market. With a pre-sale price of RMB 148,800 yuan ($20,500), the Firefly is rivaling with VW ID.3 and BMW MINI. With a BAAS solution, we guess the price will be as low as RMB 110,000 yuan ($15,100).

Avatr 06 has already started a presale on March 27th, with a pre-sale price starting at RMB 215,900 yuan ($29,700). The car offers 5 trims for both BEV and EREV powertrains. According to the company, the car received over 20,000 pre-orders within 26 hours after the launch.

Launch Day: April

No. 3. BYD Han L EV

The BYD Han L EV started pre-sale on March 18th, with prices between RMB 270,000 ($37,100) to 350,000 ($48,100). The highlights would be the MegaWatt Flash Charge Technology and Super e-Platform for a premium sedan.

Launch Day: April 9th  

Highlights:  

- Super e-Platform (1,000V architecture)

- MegaWatt Flash Charge Technology, delivering 1 MW peak power, with a charging rate of 10C, 1,000 kW peak power (5-minute 450 km recharge)

No. 4. BYD Tang L EV:

The BYD Tang L EV, positioned as a premium SUV with BYD’s latest technologies and God’s Eye-B ADAS solution, will definitely make a position in the market. The car has started pre-sale on March 18th, with prices between RMB 280,000 ($38,500) -360,000 yuan ($49,500).

Launch Day: April 9th  

Highlights:

- A mid-large sized 7-seater SUV, with over 5m long, and a 3m wheelbase (2+3+2 layout)

- God’s Eye-B ADAS + optional Ling Yuan drone platform

No. 5. AITO M8

The AITO M8 Filling the market gap between its M7 and M9. The model started pre-sale on March 6th, and received over 100,000 pre-orders on April 6th, one month after its pre-sale launch.

Launch Day: Mid April

Highlights:  

- EREV variants are now available, with a 1.5T range extender and dual motors, generating a pure-electric range of 161km-240km.

No. 6. Leapmotor B10

As the first model from Leapmotor’s B series, the B10 is targeting a global market with rich array of intelligent features. The pre-sale starts on March 10th, receiving over 30,000 orders after the launch.
