NIO, a Chinese electric vehicle maker, has unveiled its latest technical innovation, NOMI GPT, which aims to transform the in-car experience.
NOMI GPT, which was announced on April 12, 2024, is a significant step forward in Artificial Intelligence (AI) breakthroughs in the automobile sector; it is installed in vehicles equipped with NIO's Banyan Intelligent System.
This one-of-a-kind multimodal model is intended to power NOMI, NIO's proprietary digital in-car system, and it includes a number of capabilities that set a new bar for AI services in automobiles. NOMI's huge model capabilities enable it to answer encyclopedic inquiries in a variety of fields, including science, history and entertainment. It can also trigger AI-driven scenarios, ambient lighting schemes, and distinctive expressions in response to simple inputs.
Furthermore, NOMI incorporates superior multi-modal perception technology, integrating visual, acoustic, and vehicular sensor data, enhancing its ability to perceive both the vehicle's inside and exterior thoroughly, as well as express in a human-like natural language.
Furthermore, it improves comprehension and user interaction by identifying details and combining complicated task processing capabilities with cognitive capacities. The NOMI GPT also has a powerful emotion engine that improves humanoid interaction in terms of speed, cognition, and decision making.
NOMI GPT, which is set to be installed in cars later this year, ushers in a new age of in-car artificial intelligence experiences.
