Must-See BYD Models at 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show Unveiled

How will 2025 China auto market be like? The Guangzhou Auto Show may tell. This year’s Guangzhou Auto Show will be grandly held on November 15th, with over 90 mainstrain automakers joining the exhibition as exhibitors, recording a new high in scale.

Recently, BYD has announced its lineup for the 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show. There are really some highlighted models we must not miss, such as the Denza N9 flagship SUV and BYD Xia MPV. As the host, BYD will no doubt showcase its tech innovations for the future development of mobility.

Denza Z9 Official Launch

BYD's Denza brand will officially launch the Z9 at the event. Denza Z9 is positioned as a D-class smart luxury flagship sedan with a pre-sale price ranging from 339,800 yuan (approximately USD 47,000) to 419,800 yuan (approximately USD 58,700). The Denza Z9 offers both pure electric and plug-in hybrid powertrain options. The car will be equipped with Yisanfang technology standard for all trims, enabling the car to achieve extreme steering, circular turning, and intelligent crab walking.

Denza N9 Global Debut

The Denza N9 will make its global public debut here at the Guangzhou Auto Show. As aluxury flagship SUV, the Denza N9 features top-level powertrain and luxury tech configurations. It is known that this model has a stable and tough outllok design, and is equipped with Yisanfang technology too. One of its trims, a plug-in hybrid version, has a 152kW engine and three motors, boosting a fuel consumption of only 7.29 liters per 100 kilometers.

BYD Xia Interior Premiere

It is expecting that we can see the interior design of the brand-new BYD Xia MPV. This model plans to hit the market within 2024, and has already started blind orders, with a pre-sale price at about 300,000 yuan (approximately USD 42,000) class. Positioned as a mid-to-large MPV, the BYD Xia features a 2+2+3 seat layout, is equipped with the BYD’s 5th-gen DM technology, anf features the DiLink150 cockpit, and DiPilot intelligent driving assistance, among other new technologies.

Fang Cheng Bao 8 Official Launch

The Fang Cheng Bao 8 is the first model that is co-developed by BYD and Huawei. The Vehicle is positioned as a tough off-road vehicle, with a pre-sale price ranging from 400,000 yuan (approximately USD 56,000) to 500,000 yuan (approximately USD 70,000). The new car is built on the 2.0T DMO platform, utilizing the same Yunyuan-P body control system as the Yangwang U8, and integrates Huawei's latest Qiankun ADS 3.0 system.
