BYD’s Fang Cheng Bao Unveils "Titanium" Series with Titanium 3 Model
BYD backed high-end brand, Fang Cheng Bao unveiled its new lineup “Titanium” with the first model Titanium 3, on December 10th.
The Fang Cheng Bao announced the second series Titanium after its Bao series on its Weibo account, by showcasing the exterior images of its first model Titanium 3. The Titanium series will be mainly offer hardcore vehicles oriented to off-road scenarios, targeting family market. The Titanium 3 will be a mid-size SUV, with an estimated starting price of 220,000 yuan (approximately USD30,300). And according to Fang Cheng Bao, Titanium 3 is expected to be released in the first half of next year.
Titanium, as a widely-used physical and chemical element, is known for its excellent ductility and plasticity. The Titanium series will share the similar meaning of the element, providing more value and enjoyment of life to users.
Titanium 3: Key Specifications and Features
In the 390th "Road Mobile Vehicle Manufacturers and Product Announcements, released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, we found more information about this model, fulfilling with a strong off-road style.
The Titanium 3 has a dimension of 4605(long)×1900(wide)×1720(high)mm and a wheelbase of 2745mm, with a "small backpack" design at the rear, while it offers a drone version of 1930mm high, as there is a drone cabin on the top.
In order to boost a robust powertrain, the Titanium 3 will use dual-motor all-wheel drive system, with a front motor power of 110kW and a rear motor power of 200kW. The 0-100km/h sprint reached 4.9 seconds.

Previous Models and Future Prospects
There are two models entered the market under Fang Cheng Bao Bao series, one it the mid-sized SUV Bao 5, and the large SUV Bao 8, both built on BYD’s latest BMO super off-road platform, and utilizing Yunnian smart vehicle control system.
The Bao 5 was launched in November 2023, with prices ranging from 239,800 yaun (approximately USD33,000) to 352,800 yuan (approximately USD48,600). By the end of this October, Bao 5 has cumulatively delivered 42,161 units.
Last month, on November 12th, the Bao 8 entered the market with prices ranging from 379,800 (approximately USD52,300) to 407,800 (approximately USD56,200) yuan, claimed to be the first model to cooperate with Huawei.
According to previous models, the Titanium 3 might featuers Yunnian system as well as Huawei intelligent driving system.
