The 2025 (29th) Greater Bay Area Auto Show is around the corner. Scheduled to be held from May 31 to June 8, 2025, at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center, the auto show is reported to be big.
Covering an area of approximately 260,000 square meters, the event even has an 80,000-square-meter outdoor activity and experience zone. The show is expecting a hundred global automotive brands and thousands of new models on display。
Major Highlights: Huawei and BYD Pavilions
According to the latest event map released recently, the two major "top-tier" local Shenzhen brands - Huawei and BYD will have their own pavilions, which make this event more attractive. The "Huawei" pavilion will focus on intelligent ecosystem collaboration, while the "BYD " pavilion on industry chain output.
The BYD pavilion, located in Hall 1, is set to make a strong debut with a full brand matrix, including BYD, Denza, Yangwang, and FangChengBao. The highlights will be the Yangwang U8L, and its hard-core techs, including Megawatt Flash Charging and the God’s Eye intelligent driving assistance system. Besides, BYD also set up an emergency floating experience zone for its Yangwang U8L.
Spotlight on Huawei Maextro S800
The key attractions of the Huawei pavilion would be the Maextro S800 large executive-level new energy sedan. According to market news, the model will be officially launched on May 31 at the show. As the most expensive model (pre-sale prices ranging from RMB 1 million to 1.5 million) in HIMA ecosystem, the will be equipped with six core technologies: Tuling Longxing Platform, Angel Seat Active Safety System, Huawei Xinghe Communication, HarmonyOS ALPS Cockpit 2.0, , Huawei Car Language System 2.0, and Huawei Giant Whale Battery 2.0.
