SAIC Motor Q3 Net Profit Surges 645% Year-on-Year  


SAIC Motor announced on October 30 that its third-quarter revenue reached RMB 169.403 billion, increasing 16.19% year-on-year, with net profit soaring 644.88% to RMB 2.083 billion. Cumulative revenue for the first three quarters amounted to RMB 468.99 billion, up 8.95%, while net profit rose 17.28% to RMB 8.101 billion (approximately USD 1.14 billion). The performance improvement stems from accelerated sales growth through market expansion, structural reforms enhancing operational efficiency, and strengthened cost control measures.



BYD Reports RMB 23.333 Billion Net Profit for First Three Quarters  


On October 30, BYD released its third-quarter 2025 financial results, showing quarterly revenue of RMB 194.985 billion, representing a 3.05% year-on-year decrease, with net profit declining 32.60% to RMB 7.823 billion. For the first three quarters, revenue reached RMB 566.266 billion, growing 12.75% annually, while net profit totaled RMB 23.333 billion (approximately USD 3.29 billion), reflecting a 7.55% decrease compared to the same period last year.



Seres Posts RMB 5.312 Billion Net Profit in First Three Quarters, Up 31.56%  


Seres Group reported on October 30 that revenue for the first three quarters of 2025 reached RMB 110.534 billion, with net profit climbing 31.56% year-on-year to RMB 5.312 billion (approximately USD 748 million). The company continues to demonstrate robust growth in the competitive new energy vehicle sector.



FAW-Volkswagen Targets L3+ Autonomous Driving for 2027-2030  


FAW-Volkswagen Party Secretary and General Manager Chen Bin stated on October 30 that the joint venture will introduce Level 2+ combined driver assistance with LiDAR in 2026, enabling point-to-point navigation and multi-scenario parking functions. From 2027-2030, the company plans to achieve Level 3 and higher autonomous driving capabilities, including valet parking and expanded smart driving scenarios.



Chery Fulwin T11 Launches with Starting Price of RMB 179,900  


Chery officially launched the Fulwin T11 on October 30, positioning the model as a "smart large six-seat flagship SUV." The vehicle is offered in four variants priced from RMB 179,900 to RMB 239,900 (approximately USD 25,300–33,800). Power comes from Chery's third-generation Kunpeng Super Hybrid C-DM system, combining a dedicated 1.5T range-extender with dual motors in an all-wheel-drive architecture. The engine delivers 115 kW maximum power and 100 kW peak generation capacity.
