At the 2025 Global New Energy Vehicle Cooperation and Development (Shanghai) Forum (GNEV2025) on June 25, Sun Xiaohong, Secretary-General of the Automotive Internationalization Committee at the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), revealed China exported 6.4 million vehicles in 2024. Based on current 10% annual growth trends, Sun projected 2025 exports will reach 7 million units.
