According to the National Standard Information Public Service Platform, the "Vehicle Network Cybersecurity Abnormal Behavior Detection Mechanism" (Standard No. GB/T 45181-2024), developed by 360 Group and the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, has been officially released. The new standard is set to take
effect on April 1, 2025. It aims to enhance cybersecurity measures for vehicle networks, focusing on detecting abnormal behaviors that may threaten the safety and security of connected vehicles. This development reflects China's increasing efforts to regulate the growing vehicle network sector, ensuring better protection against cyber threats in the automotive industry as connected and autonomous vehicles continue to rise in popularity.
Chinese Car Makers Set Ambitious 2025 Sales Targets
Several Chinese automakers have unveiled their sales targets for 2025, aiming for significant growth compared to 2024. NIO has set an ambitious goal of 444,000 vehicles, doubling its expected sales for 2024. Xiaomi Motors targets a total of 300,000 units, marking a 122% increase year-on-year. Geely's premium electric brand, Zeekr, plans to achieve 320,000 units, a 44% growth. Meanwhile, AVATR aims for 220,000 units, nearly tripling its sales with a projected 199% increase.
