Denza Launches Second-Generation D9 with Heyuan Power Platform


On April 27, Denza officially launched the second-generation D9, offering a lineup of six models divided equally between plug-in hybrid and pure electric versions. The official guidance price ranges from RMB 359,800 (USD 52,100) to RMB 469,800 (USD 68,100). The new MPV incorporates BYD’s second-generation Blade battery and flash-charging technology, alongside the global debut of the "Heyuan" ultra-integrated power platform. For enhanced driving dynamics, the vehicle features the God’s Eye 5.0 auxiliary driving system and the dual-valve DiSus-C intelligent damping body control system.



Lynk & Co 900 Flagship SUV Market Entry and Specifications


Lynk & Co officially released its full-size flagship five-seater SUV, the Lynk & Co 900, on April 27. The model is available in three configurations: 1.5T Halo, 1.5T Ultra, and 2.0T Ultra, with limited-time special offer ranging from RMB 254,800 (USD 36,900) to RMB 300,800 (USD 43,600). Built on the SPA Evo large electric hybrid architecture, the vehicle is powered by dual Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chips. It offers two powertrain combinations featuring 1.5T or 2.0T dedicated hybrid engines paired with single or dual rear motors.


The 2.0T flagship variant delivers a maximum combined power of 540 kW and a peak torque of 1,038 N·m, enabling a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 240 km/h. This version utilizes CATL’s Freevoy super hybrid battery with a capacity of 52.38 kWh, supporting a 20% to 80% fast charge in 17 minutes. According to Lynk & Co, the 2.0T model achieves a CLTC pure electric range of up to 280 km and a comprehensive range of 1,363 km.



Great Wall Oura 5 Expands with Multi-Powertrain Variants


During the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, Great Wall Motor’s Oura brand launched the hybrid and internal combustion engine (ICE) versions of the Oura 5. After applying launch equity benefits, the limited-time exchange price for the Oura 5 Hybrid starts at RMB 79,800 (USD 11,600), while the ICE version starts at RMB 69,800 (USD 10,100). These releases are supported by the Guiyuan architecture, which allows for a "one car, multiple powers" strategy. This approach is designed to meet diverse user needs, from pure electric urban commuting to long-distance ICE travel and balanced hybrid usage.

The Oura brand plans to continue expanding its product matrix based on the "one car, multiple powers, multiple styles, and multiple categories" layoutmoving beyond the SUV segment to introduce sedans, station wagons, and other body styles in the future.



Chery AiMOGA Robot Secures One Thousand Unit Contract


Chery AiMOGA Robot announced on April 27 that it has completed a contract for 1,000 "Smart Police" robots, alongside a concentrated delivery of 100 units. Chery Group Chairman Yin Tongyue stated that the company’s primary advantage in robotics stems from the high degree of technical homology between robots and intelligent vehicles in areas such as perception, planning, and control. The chairman noted that intelligent vehicles essentially function as mobile robots, allowing Chery to leverage its automotive R&D foundations for robotic applications.
