Dongfeng Motor Reports 180,000 Overseas Sales in First Three Quarters, Over 58% NEVs in Europe  


According to an official WeChat announcement from Dongfeng Motor, the automaker achieved overseas sales exceeding 180,000 units between January and September, including 48,000 vehicles sold in the European market where new energy vehicles constituted over 58% of the volume. During the first three quarters, Dongfeng recorded total sales of 1.70 million vehicles with actual deliveries reaching 1.76 million units, including 680,000 new energy vehicles. The company anticipates surpassing the one-million-unit annual threshold for NEV sales by the end of 2025, reflecting its accelerated electrification transition and global expansion strategy.



Changan Auto Plans Route-Flying Car for 2030, Allocates RMB 20 Billion for Three-Dimensional Mobility  


Changan Automobile disclosed in an investor relations activity report on October 19 its latest advancements in robotics, flying cars, intelligent driving, and technological transformation. The company intends to launch a route-flying car product by 2030, targeting commercial operation upon introduction. Concurrently, Changan is collaborating with partners to develop humanoid robots while exploring unmanned commercial applications including autonomous sweepers, agricultural machinery, and exoskeleton technologies. Over the next five years, Changan will invest over RMB 20 billion (approximately USD 2.8 billion) to advance flying car development, with a subsequent decade-long commitment exceeding RMB 100 billion (approximately USD 14.1 billion) dedicated to integrated land-sea-air mobility and humanoid robotics solutions.



Chery Exhibits All-Solid-State Battery Module with 600 Wh/kg Energy Density  


Chery Automobile presented an all-solid-state battery module during its 2025 Global Innovation Conference on October 18. The battery employs technologies including in-situ polymerized solid-state electrolytes and lithium-rich manganese cathode materials, achieving a remarkable cell energy density of 600 Wh/kg. This innovation is projected to increase vehicle range to 1,200-1,300 kilometers per charge. Following its development roadmap, Chery plans to initiate vehicle integration validation for the all-solid-state battery technology in 2027, positioning itself at the forefront of next-generation energy storage solutions for electric mobility.
