Leapmotor B01 EV Sedan Starts Presales from RMB 105,800  

On June 29, Leapmotor has opened presales for its all-electric B01 sedan with five configurations priced from RMB 105,800 (≈USD 14,700). The model offers dual motor options delivering 132kW/175N·m or 160kW/240N·m outputs. Two battery capacities – 56.2kWh and 67.1kWh – provide CLTC-rated ranges of 550km and 650km respectively. Production-spec vehicles have completed regulatory certification, with formal market launch and customer deliveries scheduled for July.

BYD Breaks Ground on Hungary E-Bus Factory Expansion  

BYD has commenced expansion of its electric bus and truck manufacturing facility in Komárom, Hungary with an official groundbreaking ceremony lately. The project adds a new production hall featuring cutting-edge digital manufacturing systems, automation technologies, and sustainable operational processes. Upon completion, the upgraded complex will boost annual capacity to over 1,000 electric buses and trucks, strengthening BYD’s European production footprint.

Li Auto Revises Q2 2025 Delivery Guidance to ~108,000 Units  

Last Friday, Li Auto has updated its Q2 2025 delivery forecast to approximately 108,000 vehicles, down from an initial projection of 123,000–128,000 units. The automaker confirmed accelerated organizational restructuring ahead of its mid-to-large-size all-electric SUV i8’s late-July debut. Final preparatory phases for the i8 launch – encompassing production readiness, staff training, and delivery logistics – are currently underway. Li Auto expressed confidence that these operational enhancements will optimize capabilities for its forthcoming product cycle, with the i8 representing its first strategic entry into the battery-electric SUV segment.
