As disclosed by Livermore Securities on September 7, Chery Automobile has successfully passed the listing hearing of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Changan officially launched the fourth-generation Eado on September 7 during the Fifth Changan Technology Ecosystem Conference. The model is offered in three variants, with a limited-time starting price of RMB 72,900 ( pprox.. USD 10,100). Powering the sedan is a new Blue Whale 1.5T engine featuring 500Bar ultra-high pressure direct injection and an iEM intelligent energy management system, delivering a maximum power of 141kW and a peak torque of 310N·m at 1500rpm. In real-world tests, a full tank enables a range of up to 1000km. The cabin debuts the Tianshu Intelligent Cockpit integrated with DeepSeek AI voice assistant, a 14.6-inch + 10.25-inch dual-screen setup, and Scenario Cube supporting 240+ customizable functions. The vehicle also features IACC integrated adaptive cruise and other advanced driver-assist systems.

Changan Qiyuan A06 Debuts with 800V SiC Platform and 6C Flash Charging  

Changan Qiyuan A06 made its first public appearance at the Fifth Changan Technology Ecosystem Conference on September 7. The model is built on an 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform and supports 6C flash charging, enabling a charging speed of “1 km per second” under optimal conditions. This technology reduces charging time by 65% compared to 1.6C solutions and by 40% versus 3C systems. The highly integrated SiC electric drive unit is 18% more compact and improves energy efficiency by 15.7%. Additionally, the A06 is equipped with lidar—a rare feature among vehicles in its price segment—and utilizes the SDA centralized + zonal electronic/electrical architecture for enhanced intelligence and performance.
