SAIC Group Reports H1 Revenue of RMB 299.6 Billion with 5% Growth  


SAIC Group announced H1 2025 financial results with total revenue reaching RMB 299.588 billion (≈ USD 41.6 billion), a 5.23% year-on-year increase. Net profit attributable to shareholders declined 9.21% to RMB 6.018 billion, while adjusted net profit surged 432.2% to RMB 5.43 billion. Operating cash flow grew 85.9% to RMB 21.04 billion, reflecting an operational efficiency improved by its deepening-reform initiatives  



Li Auto Achieves 11th Consecutive Quarterly Profit in Q2 2025  


Li Auto reported Q2 2025 revenue of RMB 30.2 billion, rising 16.7% quarter-on-quarter amid fierce market competition. Net profit reached RMB 1.1 billion, marking the 11th consecutive profitable quarter. The company maintained robust financial health with over RMB 100 billion cash reserves, supporting annual R&D investments exceeding RMB 10 billion – including RMB 6 billion allocated to AI development. Breakthroughs in in-house chip technology are scheduled for vehicle integration by 2026, accelerating progress in intelligent and electric vehicle systems.



Dreame Enters Automotive Sector with Hypercar Targeting Bugatti Veyron  


Yesterday, consumer electronics firm Dreame officially announced its automotive venture, revealing plans for an all-electric hypercar positioned against the Bugatti Veyron. The model is slated for debut in 2027, with nearly 1,000 employees already dedicated to the project. This move signals growing cross-industry expansion into high-performance electric vehicles.



Leapmotor Confirms European Production in Spain for Q3 2026  


Leapmotor will localize European manufacturing at Stellantis’ Zaragoza plant in Spain, with production commencing in Q3 2026. Initial output will focus on the B-series, starting with the B10 compact electric SUV (launched domestically in April) followed by the B05 model. The latter will premiere at September’s Munich Motor Show, with European pricing expected under £30,000 and Chinese variants potentially starting below RMB 100,000. This partnership leverages Stellantis’ existing infrastructure for global market expansion.



Voyah Zhiyin Launches from RMB 202,900 with Huawei ADS 4  


On August 28, Voyah introduced the Zhiyin electric SUV in three configurations: RWD Qiankun, AWD Qiankun, and Ultra Long Range Qiankun, priced from RMB 202,900 to RMB 242,900 (≈ USD 28,200 - USD 33,700). As among the first globally to feature Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 4 and HarmonySpace 5 cockpit, the ADS Max version incorporates 192-line LiDAR, 29 sensors, and three 4D imaging radars enabling urban NCA, point-to-point navigation, and full-scenario assistance. The 800V silicon carbide platform supports ultra-fast charging and extended range options.
