XPENG G7 SUV Debuts with AI Power and 702km Range

Here comes another model shakes the SUV market recently. XPENG’s G7 SUV, sold at a presale-price of RMB 235,800 yuan (≈$32,800), is definitely a hot-seller with its advanced configurations beyond its class. On the launch event, G7 received 10,000 orders in 46 minutes, with a delivery time scheduled in Q3 2025.

Launched on June 11, the G7 SUV started pre-sale with two trims, Max Edition and Ultra Edition. Positioned as an AI-Driven Intelligent SUV for Families, the G7 is doomed to domain main-stream SUV market at RMB 250,000 yuan (≈$34,700) segment.

Impressive Configurations

The car measures 4846mm long, with a wheelbase of 2915mm. The car is designed to combine both tech-savvy and sporty feel. Inside of the car, G7 is full of hard-core technologies:

- Built on XPENG’s inhouse AI architecture, the G7 has an effective computing power of 2200 TOPS, boosted by 3 Turing chips, self-developed by XPENG.

- The VLA+VLM model armed the car with an advanced reasoning and decision-making abilities. With a locally deployed model, the vehicle can operate without the dependence on network signals, and the driver and passengers can enjoy a stable and low-latency intelligent driving experience globally.

That’s not enough, XPENG’s CEO confirmed yesterday that the G7 SUV features 800 V platform, 5C ultra-fast-charging system and an ultra-long CLTC range of 702km as standard for all trims. Besides, you will find AR-HUD and DDC as standard as well. All the configurations were loaded on premium models pricing above RMB 400,000 yuan (≈$55,600) before.

XPENG’s Rising Sales Momentum

XPENG has seen a consistent rising trend on its sales recently months. XPENG sold 33,525 units in May (+230% YoY), marking its seventh month with sales volume exceeding 30,000 units. The affordable MONA M03 accounted for the smash hit.
