Xpeng and Volkswagen China Collaborate on Ultra-Fast Charging Network

On January 6th, Xpeng Motors and Volkswagen Group China announced a strategic partnership in building the ultra-fastcharging network in China, signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Both companies will open their proprietary ultra-fast charging networks to each other, allowing customers of Xpeng Motors and Volkswagen Group China to access a network with over 20,000 charging terminals, covering 420 cities across China. They will also explore building co-branded ultra-fast charging stations to accelerate the development of the charging network.

Gotion High-Tech: Successful Development of Vehicle-Grade Sulfide Solid-State Battery "Jinshi Battery"

On January 6th, Gotion High-Tech stated on an interactive platform that the company has been fully committed to developing sulfide solid-state batteries and is also laying out the development of halide solid-state batteries. It has successfully developed a vehicle-grade sulfide solid-state battery, the "Jinshi Battery," which has passed the stringent 200°C thermal box test, providing a new path for high-energy-density and high-safety battery systems.

Aion UT Pre-Sales Launch with a Starting Price of 89,800 Yuan

On January 6th, Aion AION UT officially launched pre-sales. The new car is positioned as a small pure electric hatchback sedan, with three pre-sale models available, covering a pre-saleprice range of 89,800 to 109,800 yuan. In terms of power, the AION UT is equipped with a single motor drive, with a maximum power of 100kW, a top speed of 150km/h, and a 44kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, with a reported range of 420km by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
