Refreshed ONVO L60 Features SkyOS Operating System and Shenji Chip

ONVO, a sub-brand of Nio targeting mainstream family market, launched the refreshed L60 on June 2 and started per-sale, The brand will open consumer test drives on June 6, followed by its official market launch on June 11. The model, first introduced on September 19, 2024, builds upon 900V high-voltage architecture and the native vehicle-wide operating system SkyOS (天枢).

Intelligent Hardware and Software Specifications

The refreshed ONVO L60 integrates intelligent hardware and software from NIO's flagship platforms. It features NIO’s proprietary 5nm automotive-grade autonomous driving chip, the Shenji NX9031. The semiconductor operates alongside the NIO World Model, an automated driving neural network, and SkyOS (天枢). This configuration forms a combined chip, model, and operating system stack for its driving assistance systems.

Powertrain, Battery, and Dimensions

The mid-size SUV measures 4,828 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,616 mm in height, with a 2,950 mm wheelbase. Built on a 900V high-voltage architecture, the vehicle charges from 10% to 80% state-of-charge in 25 minutes. Buyers can choose between two battery options: a 60 kWh pack providing a CLTC range of 560 km, or an 85 kWh pack delivering a CLTC range of 740 km.

Cockpit and Infotainment Features

The cabin is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor to handle concurrent processing tasks. The interior includes a newly added 17.3-inch 3K entertainment display for the rear seats. Integrated via the SkyOS platform, the front and rear screens support synchronized data streaming with zero latency, allowing passengers to connect external devices like a Switch console or play video content across both displays.

ONVO May Delivery Data and L60 Launch Timeline

ONVO delivered 12,029 vehicles in May, representing a 91.5% year-on-year increase and a 124.8% month-on-month growth. The brand's L90 and L80 flagship models surpassed 10,000 deliveries in their first month. Will L60 copy their success?
