About a year after its initial launch in China, the XPeng P7i is receiving an update in the form of the P7i Wing Edition, similar to the company's previous P7 Wing Edition model. The new Wing Edition primarily introduces cosmetic changes along with some new interior features.

The P7i Wing Edition is based on the P7i 702 Max version, equipped with a 276 horsepower electric motor delivering 440 Nm of peak torque and an 86.2 kWh battery, offering a range of 702 kilometers according to CLTC standards, which tend to be more optimistic with their estimates.

Externally, the P7i Wing Edition remains identical to the standard P7i, except for the addition of scissor doors. Additionally, the Wing Edition introduces new color options, including Starry Purple and Starry Blue, along with 19-inch black wheels to complement the two paint choices.

The interior, the seats are upholstered in Nappa leather, with ventilated front seats and a heated steering wheel. The vehicle also features a dual 50-watt, air-cooled wireless charger and an ambient light system offering 257 color options.

The vehicle is expected to receive an OTA update between April and May, introducing the latest MediaTek 5.0 system.

Pre-orders for the car are available on XPeng's official website in China.
