Avatr, the premium EV brand backed by Changan, CATL and Huawei, has launched its Avatr 11 SUV right-hand drive version, at the beginning price of 2,099,000 baht (approximately $62,860).
Avatr held a brand launch event in Bankok, Thailand, officially announced its entry into the Thai auto market, which is also an important step into Southeast Asia market.
According to the company, Avatr 11 right-hand drive version offers two trims, Standard Range at 2,099,000 baht (approximately $62,800), and Lang Range at 2,299,000 baht (approximately $68,800). For reference, the starting price for the 2024 Avatr 11 in China is 300,800 yuan (approximately $42,400).
On the event, the company also declared its future overseas expansion plan. Avatr is aiming to establish over 100 official overseas dealer stores across five continents including Europe, covering 50 countries globally by 2025. Avatr will take Thailand market as a bridgehead for its further overseas expansion into other right-hand drive market in Southeast Asia, and other places in the world.
