Avatr Unveils Future Strategy: European entry in 2026
At the 2025 Chongqing Auto Show on June 7, Avatr Technology President Chen Zhuo announced three strategic pillars in five years:
1. Product Roadmap: Launch 17 models by 2030—including a million-RMB (USD 138,900) six-seat flagship SUV in 2026—spanning sedans, SUVs, sports cars, and MPVs.
2. Sales Ambition: Achieve 800,000 global annual sales by 2030.
3. Global Expansion: Enter 50+ markets in 2025 with 160+ overseas stores, followed by European entry in 2026. The plan accelerates Avatr’s challenge to premium EV leaders like NIO and Zeekr.
GWM Patents AI-Optimized Battery Cooling System
Great Wall Motors (GWM) secured a patent for its "Battery Cooling Control Method, Device and Terminal Equipment" on June 8, per China’s Intellectual Property Administration. The system dynamically adjusts compressor speeds using real-time thermal load algorithms, preventing mechanical stress and extending component lifespan. GWM has obtained 1,247 patents in 2025—a 58.45% YoY increase—bolstering its NEV tech portfolio amid global battery innovation races.
Dongfeng Liuzhou, AI2 ROBOTICS Embodied AI Cooperation in Auto Manufacturing
Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor and AI2 ROBOTICS Shenzhen signed a strategic agreement on June 7 to deploy embodied AI in full-scale automotive production. AI2 ROBOTICS’ GOVLA-powered AlphaBot 2 robots will handle material loading, cart towing, windshield labeling, and protective cloth management at Dongfeng plants. This marks China’s first implementation of embodied large models across entire vehicle assembly workflows in auto manufacture, promising an increased efficiency and quality.
