FAW Audi Debuts A5L and Q6L e-tron with Huawei Qiankun ADS  

August 7, FAW Audi launched three new models: the petrol-powered A5L sedan priced at RMB 239,800–289,800 (≈USD 33,300–40,300), alongside the all-electric Q6L e-tron (RMB 348,800–378,800 ≈USD 48,500–52,600) and Q6L Sportback e-tron (RMB 368,800–398,800 ≈USD 51,200–55,400). All variants feature Huawei's Qiankun advanced driving system. Two additional A5L derivatives – Navigation Edition and All-domain Hybrid quattro – will debut in October and December respectively, completing Audi's localized intelligent mobility portfolio.  

Customs: China's Auto Exports Hit RMB 513.46 Billion in Jan-July, Up 10.9%  

China's General Administration of Customs reported RMB 9.18 trillion (≈USD 1.28 trillion) in mechanical and electrical product exports during the first seven months of 2025, representing 60% of total export value and a 9.3% year-on-year increase. Notable segments include automatic data processing equipment (RMB 823.62 billion ≈USD 114.4 billion, +1.1%), integrated circuits (RMB 778.45 billion ≈USD 108.2 billion, +21.8%), and automobiles (RMB 513.46 billion ≈USD 71.3 billion, +10.9%).

SERES July NEV Sales Rise 5.7% to 44,581 Units  

SERES Group announced July 2025 new energy vehicle sales of 44,581 units, marking a 5.7% year-on-year increase. However, cumulative January-July NEV sales declined 10.87% to 216,700 vehicles.

Changan 3rd-Gen UNI-V Launches at RMB 97,900 Post-Rebate  

Changan Automobile introduced the third-generation UNI-V sedan in four trims with post-cash rebate pricing of RMB 97,900–113,900 (≈USD 13,600–15,800). Powertrain options include a 141kW/310N·m 1.5T engine paired with 7-speed wet DCT (1,000km combined range), and a 180kW/400N·m 2.0T unit mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission enabling 0-100km/h acceleration in 6.3 seconds. Both engines utilize Changan's New Blue Whale 3.0 technology with 500bar direct injection for optimized thermal efficiency.
