Great Wall Motor Debuts Native AI GWM ONE Multi-Powertrain Platform

Great Wall Motor (GWM) unveiled the world's first native AI multi-powertrain automotive platform, named GWM ONE, on January 16. The platform natively supports five energy systems: FCEV (hydrogen fuel cell), ICE (efficient internal combustion), BEV (pure electric), HEV (hybrid electric), and PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric). Leveraging this platform, GWM's Hi-4 technology has been upgraded to support a front and rear dual-motor + series-parallel + multi-gear architecture. Key components include a 4-speed dedicated hybrid transmission, a 2.0T high-efficiency dedicated hybrid engine, an 800V high-voltage electrical architecture, a high-energy-density battery pack, and a 270kW high-performance silicon carbide motor. Its super BEV variant employs an all-domain 900V high-voltage architecture with in-house developed 6C battery cells, enabling a peak charging power exceeding 600kW (80% charge in 10 minutes), 0-100 km/h acceleration in around 4 seconds, and V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) discharge capability.
