Chery Backed Jetour Ready to Launch Hybrid SUV Shanhai T2

The Jetour Shanhai T2 is scheduled to hit the market, with a 4785mm length and a pure electric range of 208 kilometers. Following the success of the Jetour Traveller, the hybrid version, dubbed the Shanhai T2, is set to be officially unveiled by the end of April. Chery just revealed the presale pricing, which ranges from 184,900 to 216,900 yuan.

This new vehicle has a sturdy, strong design similar to that of the Jetour Traveller. It features a square headlamp with a matrix light source structure, a black rectangular grille emblazoned with the Jetour emblem, and a rough, tough front bumper with fog lights.

The Shanhai T2 stands out for its straight-line appearance and vertical rear pillar. Shanhai T2 dimensions are 4785/2006/1875(1910)mm, with a wheelbase of 2800mm. It also features projecting wheel arches and a black wheel brow design.

The Shanhai T2 comes with a 1.5TGDI engine. This engine's maximum power is 115KW, and when combined with a double motor drive and a 3DHT system, it produces a combined maximum power of 280KW. The battery installed in the car is from CATL and has a capacity of around 43.24kWh. The pure electric maximum cruising range is 208 kilometers, with a full charge and full tank experience extending to 1300 kilometers.

To meet the need for intelligent driving, the Shanhai T2 has active braking, adaptive cruising, panoramic sunroof, heated steering wheel, 50-watt mobile phone wireless charging, leg drag, seat heating/ventilation, and 220 Volt power in the trunk. The high-end Shanhai T2 has sleep neck pillows, SONY audio, and light shows to enhance its comfort.

The Shanhai T2 combines the thrill of acceleration with stability, ensuring a smooth journey with its 28° approach angle, 30° departure angle, 205mm minimum clearance, and 700mm wading depth. Furthermore, the car's high-strength steel body provides a considerable level of safety. The high ground clearance reduces the possibility of power battery failure, making driving more enjoyable.
