According to figures from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, sales in China's commercial vehicle industry increased by 8.1% between January and April 2024, totaling 1.39 million units.

The local market received 1.1 million units, while exports accounted for 288,000 units, representing a 26.5% increase over the same period previous year.

Truck sales, a major contributor, increased by 7.3% year on year, totaling 1.23 million units.

Simultaneously, bus sales increased by 14.7% year on year, reaching 158,000 units.

Despite a tiny 4.2% decline in commercial vehicle exports in April compared to March, the overall trend over the first four months suggests that China's commercial vehicle market is expanding rapidly.
