China's vehicle exports reached 550,000 units in November, a year-on-year increase of 5%

On December 24, Cui Dongshu, the secretary-general of the China Passenger Car Association, posted that in November, China's vehicle exports reached 550,000 units, with a year-on-year growth rate of 5% and a month-on-month decrease of 6%, indicating pressure in both year-on-year and month-on-month trends; from January to November, China's vehicle exports reached 5.84 million units, with an export growth rate of 23%. Among them, the export volume of new energy vehicles in November was 140,000 units, a year-on-year decrease of 14%, and a month-on-month decrease of 32%; from January to November, the cumulative export volume of new energy vehicles was 1.86 million units, a year-on-year increase of 13%.

On the same day, Chen Zhuo, president of Avatr Technology, announced that Avatr would become the world's first new energy brand to adopt CATL Bedrock Chassis.

On December 24, Farasis Energy stated that it is implementing a multi-electrolyte approach in the field of solid-state batteries, with significant progress in both semi-solid and solid-state battery products, planning to conduct scale-up validation in 2025. In the field of all-solid-state batteries, sulfur-based solid-state batteries with an energy density exceeding 400Wh/kg have entered the testing phase and have successfully passed tests such as puncture, shear, and thermal box; oxide/polymer composite system solid-state batteries can achieve an energy density of 500Wh/kg, and the composite electrolyte materials have been developed. In the field of semi-solid batteries, the second-generation semi-solid battery products have completed DV (design verification) and PV (product verification) tests and are preparing for small-batch production; the third-generation products can achieve an energy density of 400Wh/kg, and are currently undergoing automotive-grade certification and industrial development.
