Ministry of Commerce: Over 3.1 Million Vehicles Replaced Nationwide by December 19

The Ministry of Commerce announced that as of December 19, nearly 2.7 million vehicles were scrapped and updated nationwide, and over 3.1 million vehicles were replaced. In November, domestic passenger car retail sales reached 2.423 million units, a year-on-year increase of 16.5%, and a month-on-month increase of 7.1%, setting a new high for passenger car retail sales this year. In November, domestic new energy passenger car retail sales reached 1.268 million units, a year-on-year increase of 50.5%, with growth rates remaining above 50% for three consecutive months.

Changan Zhu Huarong: The company will invest over 20 billion yuan in the low-altitude economy field in the next five years

On December 21, Zhu Huarong, Chairman of Changan Automobile, revealed that Changan Automobile will invest over 20 billion yuan in the low-altitude economy field to rapidly promote the development of flying car industry in the next five years; in the next ten years, invest over 100 billion yuan to explore land, sea, air, and humanoid robot three-dimensional travel solutions. On the same day, Changan Automobile and EHang completed the signing of a cooperation agreement on flying cars.
