Exeed Sterra ET Camping Edition Launched at RMB 252,800 With Tow Hitch

Recently, Chery’s premium brand Exeed just launched a Sterra ET Camping Edition, with a price of RMB 252,800 (USD 35,100). The model is equipped with specialized camping equipment, such as a tow hitch, power outlet, and 2-ton towing certification.  

Design and Dimensions  

Retaining the standard ET’s dimensions (4,955L/1,975W/1,698H mm, 3,000 mm wheelbase), the Camping Edition adds exclusive exterior elements:  

- 20-inch wheels with red brake calipers  

- Gun-gray badging  

- Black front grille trim  

- Rear-mounted tow hitch

Interior and Tech  

Inside the cabin, the car integrates a 15.6-inch floating central display and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster. Boosting by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip, the car is capable of activating voice wake-up and multi-device wireless connectivity.

ADAS Specifications  

The car is powered by dual NVIDIA Orin-X chips and the Falcon ADAS platform, with the help of one 126-beam lidar, twelve ultrasonic sensors, and twelve cameras, all the hardware suooporting the car with mainstream autonomous driving capabilities like urban and highway navigate-on-pilot.  

Powertrain  

Robust power is crucial for a camping edition. The plug-in hybrid trim has a 1.5T range extender and dual motors (front and rear), all together boosting a combined power of 345 kW, and 634 N·m torque. The car used 41.16 kWh LFP battery pack, supporting a 240 km CLTC electric range.
