GAC Launches Its First Pure Electric SUV Model in Qatar
GAC recently held a high-profile event at its showroom in Doha to officially launch its new energy vehicle, the AION Y Plus, under the Aion Brand. NIO Officially Enters the Middle East and North Africa Market
In a notable expansion move, NIO’s Chairman and CEO, William Li, announced on Weibo that NIO has entered the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) market. On October 4th, a new strategic cooperation agreement was signed between NIO and strategic investor VYVN in the presence of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The agreement includes the establishment of an advanced technology R&D center in the UAE, with the first formal vehicle deliveries in the UAE expected to commence in Q4 of this year. NIO aims to be present in 25 countries and regions by 2025, demonstrating its aggressive global expansion strategy.
