Geely's First Self-Owned Ro-Ro Ship Sets Sail for Europe with Over 5,000 Vehicles

Geely's first self-owned Ro-Ro ship, "JISU FORTUNE," embarks on its maiden voyage to Europe, enhancing overseas sales.

Geely is accelerating its overseas sales by the successful maiden voyage of its first self-owned Ro-Ro ship set for Europe recently.


According to the official news released by Taicang Port, Geely’s first self-owned Ro-Ro ship, with the name of "JISU FORTUNE”, was successfully launched on May 26th. The ship was scheduled to set to UK, Netherlands, and Belgium in Europe, from the Haitong Terminal in Taicang Port in Suzhou.  


"JISU FORTUNE”, owned by Geely Automobile's logistics subsidiary, Jisu, measures 199.9 meters high and 38 meters wide, with a capacity of 7,000 cars. The vessel features:

- 12 decks, all capable of carrying both fuel and lithium battery cars

- Four decks are adjustable to load differentvarious vehicle sizes

- 11th and 12th decks are capable of transporting hydrogen and natural gas new energy vehicles


According to Geely Group’s April sales report, Geely exported 24,133 units to overseas markets in April 2025, bringing a total of 114,086 units exported from January to April. The maiden voyage of "JISU FORTUNE" is expected to further boost Geely's overseas sales.
