Geely Holding Group plans to construct a 500,000 vehicle production capacity in Malaysia's AHTV Industrial Park by 2035, with 50% of the capacity going export. In order to achieve this goal, Geely is going to build a million automobile parts supply chain system, half of which will be used to supply the international market.

In addition to possible international auto brands, the industrial park will house automobile brands under the Geely umbrella. This action comes after Geely and Malaysia's DRB-HICOM Group signed a comprehensive cooperation framework agreement in April of last year with the goal of fostering deeper and wider engagement around the development of Malaysia's new energy industry.
