JPMorgan: Xiaomi EV Stock Could Rise 15-20% on Delivery Surge

JPMorgan analysts including Gokul Hariharan placed Xiaomi shares on the "Positive Catalyst Watch" list, projecting potential 15-20% stock appreciation within 3-4 months should electric vehicle deliveries accelerate significantly. This follows recent share price corrections driven by earnings concerns. The note anticipates monthly EV deliveries could reach 40,000 units by Q4 2025, contingent on production stabilization and sustained demand for Xiaomi's SU7 sedan series across major Chinese markets.

Taicang Port Sets Record with 435,700 Vehicle Exports in July

Customs data reveals Taicang Port exported 435,700 vehicles during January-July 2025, marking a 58.78% year-on-year surge and achieving the 400,000-unit milestone four months earlier than 2024. The record volume was facilitated by multimodal transport: rail-sea (101,000 units, 23.2%), road-sea (288,000 units, 66.1%), and river-sea (46,700 units, 10.7%) shipments. This underscores the port’s strategic role in China’s automotive export infrastructure amid growing global demand.

XPeng Chairman He Xiaopeng announced the X9 MPV secured Thailand’s July pure-electric MPV sales crown with 199 units delivered. As XPeng’s global flagship, the model has launched in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Macau, and Hong Kong since January 2025. Notably, the first Indonesia-locally assembled X9 was delivered in July, signaling accelerated regional production capabilities for the Guangzhou-based automaker.
