On March 10th, Leapmotor started the pre-sale of its first B series model, the Leapmotor B10 pure-electric compact SUV. B10, as a global model, is another hit after Leapmotor’s C series, aiming to target RMB100,000 to RMB 150,000 yuan segment.

The B10 prices between RMB109,800 ($15,000) to RMB139,800 ($19,000) yuan with 5 trims to offer, and is projected to launch in next month in April. Far beyond expectations, B10 received 15,010 pre-orders injust one hour.

Pricing and Pre-Sale Success

On the launch event, Leapmotor shared the latest LEAP3.5 architecture, showcasing its advanced intelligent driving technology, which is the highlight of the model B10.

According to the company, the B10 is built on Leapmotoer’s in-housed developed LEAP3.5 architecture, which has achieved the integration and intelligence of software and hardware, an upgrade on 2024 LEAP3.0 architecture. The highly integrated architecture achieved notable upgrades in key areas such as batteries, electric motors, electric control, thermal management, intelligent driving, and intelligent cockpit.

Smart Cockpit Enhancements

In terms of the smart cockpit, B10 is armed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155/8295 (only for LiDAR editions) chip, offering a seamless human-car interaction. Equipped with a 14.6-inch 2.5K floating central control screen and an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster, the tech-savvy cabin offers incredible driving experience.

Advanced Intelligent Driving System

In terms of the advanced intelligent driving system, the B10 LiDAR editions adopt Qualcomm Snapdragon 8650 intelligent driving chip with computing power of 100TOPS. The model is armed with the most advanced LiDAR from Hesai, supporting L2+ advanced driving capabilities such as highway/urban automatic navigation assistance. In the future, it can be OTAed to a higher level of intelligent driving assistance with functions, such as parking space to parking space.
