Leapmotor Sets New Delivery Record in September 2025
Recently, Leapmotor, Chinese NEV startup released its September delivery report, marking a record of 66,657 vehicles delivered during the month (up 97% YoY).
The record-making sales performance represented the company’s first time of surpassing the 60,000-unit monthly delivery milestone, which is also the highest monthly delivery volume among Chinese electric vehicle startups. Furthermore, the September record marks Leapmotor’s 7th consecutive month leading the NEV startup delivery ranking list.
Strong SUV Market Performance Drives Leapmotor’s Success
Leapmotor’s product lineup is gaining strong market recognition in recent months. The C10 secured the first position in the new energy medium SUV category for consecutive 4 months. Besides, the C16 maintained the cumulative sales leadership for 8 months in the RMB 200,000 (approximately USD 28,200) large SUV segment.
Production Milestone: One Million Vehicles Assembled
In September, Leapmotor achieved a production milestone of 1,000,000th vehicle getting off the assembly line on September 25, which takes the brand only 343 days after producing its 500,000th unit.
Financial Performance and Future Outlook
Financially, Leapmotor achieved a net profit of RMB 30 million (approximately USD 4,200) in H1 2025, becoming the second Chinese EV startup to achieve semi-annual profitability after Li Auto. With the robust performance, the company has already adjust its 2025 annual sales target to between 580,000 and 650,000 vehicles.
