Yu Chengdong, Huawei’s Managing Director and Chairman of the Terminal BG, disclosed that the sales data for Luxeed S9 extended-range variant. The model exceeds 4,000 deliveries in the past month after its launch on April 16, 2024.
The Luxeed S9 extended-range variant includes three trims pricing from RMB 309,800 to RMB 369,800 (≈USD 43,000–51,400 at RMB 7.2 = USD 1).
The Luxeed S9 includes premium features as standard:
- Four lidar sensors
- HUAWEI ADS 3.3 advanced driver-assistance system
- Huawei Snow Owl Intelligent Range-Extender System
- Huawei Vehicle Language System
- Huawei Sound Premium audio system
- Intelligent Laser Projection Screen System 2.0
The outlook of the Luxeed S9 remains its pure electric model’s design language, but with a new exterior paint option “Vast Universe Blue”. The dimensions remain the same as its pure electric model at 5,160 mm (L) × 1,987 mm (W) × 1,486 mm (H), with a 3,050 mm wheelbase.
The Extended-Range model boosts a robust powertrain, achieving pure-electric range of 365km and a combined range of 1,355km. It achieves a CLTC pure-electric range of 365 km and a combined range of 1,355 km. According to the company, the HUAWEI ADS 3.3 system uploaded on this model will get an upgrade to HUAWEI ADS 4 in Q3 2025.
